RNGdle Badges: Conditions, Probability and Changes

Learn how original RNGdle badges describe number patterns, what their rarity means, and why older badge lists can become outdated.

Find the right badge answer

  • Quarter-Century: read our checked ending-in-25 guide and then the original badge page.
  • Two Pair: read our current-rule guide and then the original badge page; older guides may predate the August 21, 2026 fix.
  • Mini Scramble, Dunes and Sandwich: the current original single-badge pages have now been checked. See the three focused guides below. A search for Dune points to the original badge named Dunes.
  • Another badge: check your result on the original game and its linked badge detail. rngdle.tools has an unofficial badge index for exploration, but its entries are third-party aids, not original-game authority.

More verified badges

  • Mini Scramble: a neighboring block of digits that forms a run when sorted; the official page lists Common, 579 EP and 17.3%.
  • Dunes: alternating rises and falls with flat stretches allowed; the official page lists Common, 364 EP and 27.5%.
  • Sandwich: matching first and last digits with a different digit between; the official page lists Uncommon, 1,000 EP and 10.0%. Its guide derives the number of integers matching the written condition.

Each page distinguishes its current original wording from unresolved detector boundaries. These five guides are examples, not a complete badge catalog.

What a badge tells you

According to the original About page, badges can recognize palindromes, primes, repeating digits, mathematical sequences and other number properties. Their rarity labels are determined by the chance of rolling a number that earns them. Rarer badges are worth more entropy points (EP).

Your whole roll has a different rarity label based on total EP compared with other possible rolls. The two official scales are shown together in EP and rarity.

Two examples from the original site

The Quarter-Century badge applies to a number ending in 25; the checked official page lists Rare, 10,000 EP and 1.00% probability. The Two Pair badge requires two distinct matching digit pairs; its checked page lists Common, 377 EP and 26.6% probability. Each guide links to the original badge page and shows when it was checked.

The August 21, 2026 official update added several badges, removed Tree Fiddy and Exact Tree Fiddy, and fixed the Two Pair and Contiguous Two Pair logic. A guide written before that date may list a badge that is gone or give an obsolete condition.

Looking up a specific badge

Start with the original game’s badge pages or in-game result. Check the badge name, condition, EP, probability and date as separate facts. Our important updates tracks known changes, but it does not pretend to be a complete mirror of every original badge. The current Mini Scramble, Dunes and Sandwich pages provide short public conditions; they do not publish every detector edge case or a complete change history.
