RNGdle Two Pair Badge: Current Rule and 2026 Fix

Current source and value

The original Two Pair badge page describes two distinct matching digit pairs. It listed Common, 377 EP and 26.6% probability when checked September 24, 2026. Those are the original page’s badge values, not an independently computed total for a roll.

“Distinct” is the useful word to check when another explanation merely says “two pairs.” We have not reproduced every edge case of the badge detector. For an actual number, use the original game’s displayed result and current badge page; do not infer eligibility from a short example here.

Why an old answer can disagree

The official changelog says Two Pair and Contiguous Two Pair logic was fixed on August 21, 2026. It does not document every prior edge case. We therefore cannot reconstruct the old rule or say that an older third-party calculator is wrong for every input. Check the calculator’s stated version and compare the current original result.
